High infectious lentiviral vector (LVV) recovery with LentiHERO® is achieved by:
- Low salt elution – elute in less than 50% salt concentration used with other products
- Low shear environment – 860 nm mean flowpath diameter, no dead end channels combined with dual direction flow
AstreAdept® LentiHERO® formats of 1 ml and 10 ml bed volume enable precision scaling:
- Stay radial – our small radial capsules are available in 1X and 10X formats accommodating 1 ml and 10 ml bed volumes, respectively.
Low Salt Elution
Lentiviral vectors are susceptible to high salt concentrations. AstreAdept® LentiHERO® technology enables a 50% reduction in salt concentration for elution.
Low Shear Environment
Shear stresses during purification damage LVV. The LentiHERO® capsule has convective flow with a mean flowpath diameter of 860 nm, so avoiding damage to large and fragile particles– less worry about losing precious LVV during purification.
Moreover, due to the physical properties of the AstreAdept® technology, flow is dual directional, with no dead end channels – so fouling becomes easier to handle.
Radial Devices
It is important to optimize your process with adsorbents that will be representative of larger-scale downstream processing. The LentiHERO® low-volume capsules are radial, with consistent internal architecture, and thus scale with precision.
The AstreAdept® LentiHERO® capsules start with a high capacity 1 mL adsorbent bed volume offering high recovery and superior impurity removal – so your process can stay radial from small scale to large scale manufacture.
