MiMode™ PuraBead® AX1 is an anion-exchange mixed-mode chromatography resin combining ionic and hydrophobic interactions. This dual binding mechanism provides enhanced impurity clearance compared to conventional anion exchangers, delivering selectivity for negatively charged microenvironments in target biomolecules such as nucleic acids, viral particles, and acidic proteins. Built on the robust PuraBead® base matrix, AX1 maintains strong flow performance and chemical stability across a wide pH and conductivity range, making it suitable for both capture and polishing operations.

By balancing strong binding with controlled elution conditions, AX1 enables high-resolution separation and reduces the need for additional downstream steps.
